  • representing various clients in commercial separation involving application of restraints and separation of shareholder interests; • successfully representing a client in a multimillion dollar sale transaction where consent to transfer and assignment was unreasonably withheld;
  • representing a developer in dispute with a body corporate regarding registration of an amended community management statement required for registration to complete;
  • representing a client against a liquidator in challenging the claw back provisions in the Corporations Act to preserve the client’s perfected security interests;
  • representing a tenant in obtaining declaratory orders regarding the extension of its lease pursuant the exercise of an option under the lease, the validity of which was denied by the landlord;
  • acting for a trademark owner in pursuing the infringement of his trademark in another state forcing rebranding, compensation and costs;
  • acting for a purchaser of a shopping centre in pursuing damages against the seller on account of misleading and deceptive conduct with regards rental income and yield;
  • representing various clients in insolvency related matters ranging from bankruptcy and company winding up and associated application of insolvency legislation; and
  • acting for two company directors pursuing termination payments denied under the termination provision of the Corporations Act.
