Notice: Change to Practitioner Titles - Queensland

AJ & Co Lawyers advises clients of an administrative update to the titles used by our senior practitioners in Queensland.

Following guidance issued by the Queensland Law Society, senior practitioners in our Queensland office will now hold the title of Practice Leader, in place of Partner. This change reflects the firm's structure: legal services in Queensland are provided by AJ & Co Lawyers Pty Ltd, an incorporated legal practice, rather than through a partnership. This change is confined to our Queensland practice and does not extend to other jurisdictions.

This update applies to title and terminology only. It does not alter the practitioner responsible for your matter, the scope of our engagement, or the basis on which fees are charged. Any reference to "Partner" in a costs agreement relating to our Queensland office should be read as "Practice Leader"; all other terms remain in effect.
